It was so much fun! A real treat to be truly patriotic and British for the day!
I wore red white and blue! Unintentionally but a very good mistake! We had to get into Windsor and queue outside the castle very early otherwise we would've have a good spot once we got in.
We were right at the beginning of the place where they all came out - and sat second from the front!
They gave use free flags to wave as the queen and other royals came past. My auntie had made us a picnic to have while we waited, which was yummy and seemed a very british picnic! This is a photo from my camera, but taken with my phone..the Queen is so tiny! I've seen her in person once before but I was small then so didn't realise. But stood next to William and Charles (who look really tall!) the queen looks so little! She looked so lovely in her robe and stuff - she looked happy and had a lovely complexion. I think she must've been cheery as her hubby Phil had come out of hospital that morning.
All the royals looked so lovely - the horse on its way to get the queen had a poo which was humorous!
It was extra exciting because one of the volunteers from where I work was one of the men dressed in all red carrying a big pole thing - I'm sure ill fin out who they are haha.
Overall it was a fabulous day spent with the family!
