LANDAN

For the past two nights I've been staying in Datchet, Windsor. My auntie had got tickets to go to Windsor castle to see the Garter Ceremony (well the royals and stuff going into the ceremony).
It was so much fun! A real treat to be truly patriotic and British for the day!

I wore red white and blue! Unintentionally but a very good mistake! We had to get into Windsor and queue outside the castle very early otherwise we would've have a good spot once we got in.

We were right at the beginning of the place where they all came out - and sat second from the front!

They gave use free flags to wave as the queen and other royals came past. My auntie had made us a picnic to have while we waited, which was yummy and seemed a very british picnic!

This is a photo from my camera, but taken with my phone..the Queen is so tiny! I've seen her in person once before but I was small then so didn't realise. But stood next to William and Charles (who look really tall!) the queen looks so little! She looked so lovely in her robe and stuff - she looked happy and had a lovely complexion. I think she must've been cheery as her hubby Phil had come out of hospital that morning.

All the royals looked so lovely - the horse on its way to get the queen had a poo which was humorous!

It was extra exciting because one of the volunteers from where I work was one of the men dressed in all red carrying a big pole thing - I'm sure ill fin out who they are haha.

Overall it was a fabulous day spent with the family!

Just a week ago..

We've had Max for just over a week now and he seems to love it here! He sleeps really well and behaves really good with Matt and Laura now too.

I've taken him on lots of long walks around Shropshire and still have lots more places I can take him.

There's a lake about 5 minutes walk from the house which I didn't even realise was so close! He seems to enjoy that walk and halfway around the lake is my friends house so I get to have a cuppa on the way!

I have also realised that soft toys aren't for Max, as he chews them up in a matter of seconds! So his bed is also out of the question...

Yesterday I had him groomed at the local groomers - he didn't mind being washing but really didn't like the hair dryer, he kept biting at it and getting stressed. So once he was cut he left the groomers half wet!
Luckily it was a beautiful summers day so he dried off very quick on our long walk in my hometown of Newport in Shropshire.

The last picture is to the council who are trying to take away the beautiful countryside and build a Sainsburys and lots of housing. Newport is only a small market town and already have a Waitrose and a Co-op and the market which is more than enough for our town so you can imagine the protesting!

Anyway we had a lovely walk apart from when Max came off his harness and ran away!!! Because of his grooming his hair was so silky his harness slipped off and he took that as an opportunity to run!
Luckily after 10 minutes of panicking and crying I turned around to look for him and was say staring at me with a 'what's all the fuss about I'm right here' kind of face. Little shit.

Apart from that we've had a lovely week with Max and are looking forward to many many more! Going to take him to Wales next month to see my mum and play on the beach!

Sorry I have probably rambled, bye x
